Background

Sicco is an allround IT-Professional. He successfully completed his study ICT in 2006. He worked as full stack developer at different companies in the public and private sector (Capgemini, Unit4, UWV and DUO). His mission is to find and create solutions to make the (IT-)world a better place. That was one of the reasons he applied for the position as a software developer at Erasmus MC.

He is responsible for maintaining/developing software components within the European Health Data and Evidence Network (EHDEN, www.ehden.eu) project. This includes developing, documenting and maintaining analytical software components that enable the execution of characterization, population-level effect estimation, and patient-level prediction analyses across Europe, and developing front-end web functionalities that will work in combination with the R programming language, for developing statistical software and data analysis solutions.
