Background

Gyan de Haan joined the department as a Master student in Computer Science, Big Data engineering (Vu and Uva), with great interest in artificial intelligence.

His master thesis at the Health Data Science Department of Erasmus Medical Center, was supervised by Tom Seinen and Peter Rijnbeek.

He assessed the usage of Deep Learning Prediction Models using on Dutch Unstructured Clinical Text.
